We recently had the privilege of welcoming Teresa Riesgo, Secretary General for Innovation at the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, to our offices in El Puerto de Santa María. She was accompanied by Nuria Valcárcel Sanz, Director of her Technical Office.
This visit was a significant milestone for the entire AppliediT team. It allowed us to showcase firsthand the work we have been developing for over ten years with major industrial companies, impacting factory performance through data, and to share our vision for the future of industrial innovation in Spain.
A Journey Through Our History and Technology
During the visit, specifically organized to learn about AppliediT’s evolution, we were able to present how our technological solutions—based on data integration, advanced analytics, and improved operational efficiency—transform industrial environments in real time.
It was also an excellent opportunity to convey to the Ministry the needs and opportunities we identify in the sector’s daily operations, highlighting the importance of strengthening collaboration between public administrations, industry, and specialized technology companies. For us, institutional support and the programs promoted by the Ministry and the CDTI are fundamental to accelerating technology projects with a real impact on industry competitiveness.

Strategic Alliances and the Stellantis – IA4Q Project
The meeting also included the participation of key partners who reflect the value of technological collaboration:
- Zabala Innovation: Pedro Martín, leader of the National Projects team, presented the collaborative work we have developed together over the past year.
- Stellantis Zaragoza: Álvaro Martínez Allueva, the company’s Project Manager, emphasized the industrial impact of the projects we execute within the framework of support and funding from the Ministry and the CDTI.
Among the initiatives we shared, the IA4Q project played a particularly prominent role. Supported by the CDTI (Center for the Development of Industrial Technology), this project focuses on developing artificial intelligence solutions for quality and industrial inspection in production plants. It aims to boost new automation and intelligent analysis capabilities to optimize quality control processes.

We concluded the day looking to the future, with the firm objective of further consolidating our position as a leading technology partner and continuing our expansion into new industrial sectors, driving operational excellence with our local expertise.
